Hooded mouse Amigurumi
This little cutie will be a little gift to cheer up my mom who is staying in hospital right now having a real bad time there. I absolutely hate to crochet 4 sc or less (which is insane!) in the round. So I just braided the tail instead as suggested by the pattern.

Green little witch Amigurumi
A magical creature has joined my Amigurumi family: An apple green little witch with a Ponyo (Amazon link) face expression. ♡ The pattern base of my little witch is Sayjai Thawornsupacharoen’s »Pink Little Lady«. A great pattern to customize! While browsing through the projects linked to it you will see a lot of customized pink little ladies.

I’ve modified the sleeves to get them look puffed and instead of the bunny ears the witch was asking for a befitting witch hat. The belt is simply made by chains. For the witch hat I’ve been using a Lion Brand Yarn pattern.
Drawstring whale bag and Twinkie Chan daisy headband
I’ve needed a gift for hubby’s niece and nephew. Some days ago I stumbled over an adorable whale bag pattern. It was the perfect pattern to use up the rest of my beloved multicolored Woll Butt Lisa. And I really love how it turned out! For Antonia I made a lovely headband using a free Twinkie Chan pattern. Another perfect pattern to use up some scrap yarn.

Pink horse Amigurumi
In February a colleague from our subsidiary in Taicang, China came to us for a 6-month business exchange program. Unfortunately she had to leave all of a sudden in March. I was terribly sorry for her and so sad that she couldn’t stay with us as planned. That’s why I wanted to gift her something to cheer her up a bit.

The Minions: Kevin Amigurumi
Another birthday gift made for my best friend. He’s almost as Minions-addicted as my little nephew is! I’m very happy with the result, little Kevin turned out as cute and cuddly as I wanted him to be. I only modified little Kevin by adding a front bag to his trousers as well as two tiny black buttons.

Knitted Merino mustache cowl
After finishing my Space Invaders cowl hubby asked me if I could knit a masculine version for him, too. Well, what could be more masculine than a nice mustache? Said and done! I’ve been knitting the loop as a tube this time by using a technic called Invisible Join. Great thing, it worked out by the first attempt! I will use this technic for my second try in mastering the needle work 😀
Pattern source: none – but it’s just simple stockinette

Knitted Merino Space Invaders cowl
I’ve got a beautiful set of KnitPro Symfonie circular knitting needles (Amazon link) for Christmas from hubby. And of course I had to try them out right away. The result is a cuddly loop with awesome and cute »Space Invaders« on it. I love how you can stitch onto your knit work – and that’s how the Space Invaders came to my loop. There’s a great German tutorial video about it on nadelspiel.com: Mit Maschenstich sticken.
