Amigurumi Toy Box: Happy jellyfish
My sweet jellyfish is done! Well it has been laying around some while without the tentacles completed. The pattern can be found in Ana Paul Rimoli’s book »Amigurumi Toy Box: Cute Crocheted Friends« and is part of a set of three other cute sea animals: Octopus, dolphin and narwal.

Crochet Cthulhu mobile cozy
As hubby has a soft spot for the Cthulhu mythos (Amazon link) by H.P. Lovecraft I’ve been working on a Cthulhu mobile phone cozy lately. Yes, I’ve titled it to be an ipod cozy but it’s just because hubby is using it for his ipod nano instead. It’s a combination of two patterns and it really worked out great. I love his eyes! ♡

Mrs. Owl and Mr. Meow: Owl Amigurumi and cat mobile cozy
I’ve been very keen with my crochet projects and I just finished two gift projects. The little owl is made by a German pattern. I’m not so handy with German patterns even that I’m a native speaker but this pattern isn’t very well written. It’s free so I don’t mind that much but I wouldn’t recommend doing this for a first crochet project. You need a bit of experience to manage it. The little heart is an extra.

An aquarium for my brother’s wedding
My little brother married in August 2009 and I wanted to make something special. You usually look for something where you can store away the money you want to gift. And what would be more suitable for it than a treasure chest? And when you think of treasure chests there’s a picture of an aquarium popping up in your mind, isn’t it? So I had the idea of making an aquarium with gravel, aquarium plants, a pair of sewn fishes and a neat aquarium treasure chest to put in the money.
I’ve got the gravel from a dear member of the Natron & Soda community. The gravel bags in the pet shops were way too big for my needs. But I’ve got the plants and a pretty cool treasure chest at the pet shop. To make the fishes swim I simply added some thin wire to them and put the other end into the gravel.
Next to the aquarium I’ve made a card using my Wacom Bamboo (Amazon link) graphic tablet and Adobe Illustrator showing my brother and his wife as groom and bride and the words »Alles Liebe zur Hochzeit« meaning »Much love to your wedding«. I’ve written a poem inside the card – but it’s in German:
Welch ein Datum, welch ein Tag!
Heute findet’s also statt
Rechtfertigt man’s locker: „Molekulare Küche!“
Und zu zweit ist’s ja eh halb so schlimm
Oder doppelt so schön – macht beides Sinn
Von daher wünschen wir euch heute
Zur Hochzeit: Liebe, Glück und Freude!
Crochet colorful bunny Amigurumi
Everyone knows that I love animals and almost most of all I love bunnies. I can watch my two little ones for hours and melt away by sweetness and an overwhelmed warm heart. So I needed to crochet a cute little bunny! After a long and grey winter it turned out to end in a color explosion.

Twinkie Chan: Cupcake scarf
Twinkie Chan’s cupcake scarf which can be found in her first book was my first Twinkie project. All that pieces you have to sew together, all these loose ends you have to weave in! But I don’t remember it being that horrible as you are working on sweet little cupcakes. ♡ I started working on this scarf mostly in the evenings on February 23, 2012 and finished it on March 4, 2012.
