Cute plum bear hood
I’ve made myself a bear hood! In Spring. o_O# I absolutely fell in love with the »Baylie Bear Cowl« by Heidi May. Heidi has a bunch of adorably cute patterns in her ravelry store so it’s worth taking a look!
It’s my first time working with such a big crochet hook. My set of aluminium hooks (Amazon link) ends with 8.0 mm so I had to buy a 10.0 mm hook for this project.
I took the chance to get one of the beautiful KnitPro Symfonie Wood (Amazon link) crochet hooks. First I thought that working with my aluminium hooks is more smooth but you get used to it and it’s much better for my hand which tends to hurt when I crochet too long. It took me about 1.8 skeins to finish the hood meaning about 215.6 meters and 360 grams.
