Round 10 is done which is the trickiest part in this

Round 10-13: sc evenly (24)
Round 14: [dec] *sc2tog, sc in each of next 2 st* rep around (20)
Round 15: sc 2, sl st 2. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Place the buttons above the tentacles and sew them on using the black thread and your sewing needle. I placed mine on round 7 and left a gap of 5 stitches between them. I prefer to sew on the buttons vertically as it is giving them a catlike look. This will only work if you are using buttons with only two holes like I did.

Want less tentacle? No problem! For doing only 4 tentacle, start round 9 with sc 10 instead of 8. For doing only 3 tentacle start round 9 with sc 12 instead of 8.

Remember to do the across-the-wing-slip-stitches on the back side of the second wing. Otherwise it will appear on the wrong side

Round 5 complete!

Sew the wings together by connecting the upper parts of the small sides using one of the long tails. Weave in the short tails of the beginning of each wing. Use one of the loose ends to sew on the left wing to the body and the other one to sew on the right wing to the body. Do not sew on the complete wing. Start on the top middle of the connected wings for both of them. Just sew on 1 cm of each wing. Weave in all ends.
