Dr. Almond: Low-carb and gluten free baking
Enjoying bread without any grain flour* meaning it’s gluten free and low-carb, too! All you need is a »Dr. Almond« baking mix of your choice and some water. Yeah okay, you do need a measuring cup, a mixer, a baking tray with backing paper and your oven, too. But still it’s pretty simple!
From mixture to bread: A photo love story
When browsing around looking for grain free bread recipes you usually will end up being disappointed. And buckwheat really isn’t the best choice for bread making as it has got a very strong taste. A VERY strong taste. But to be fair: Buckwheat is doing a great job when baking cakes and other sweet stuff.
The range is huge! You don’t only get bread (including pizza!) baking mixtures there, you do even get nut and seed flour as well as baking mixtures for cakes and cookies, nut creams and more. Just some while ago the Dr. Almond team released a new product category to their shops: Breakfast with Cereal Magic Baking Mixes – for low-carb and gluten free cereal, granola, cookies and bars! I haven’t tried it yet as I still have some mixes in the kitchen which need to be testet first before placing another order. If you don’t want to have any sweeteners added to your mix your cereal mix of choice will be LCHF Cereal Magic. It’s paleo, too!
*Some mixes do contain a tiny amount of corn starch.
